Our Staff
It’s a joy to be part of the team here at First CRC. Amy and I serve as a couple in our role, sharing most aspects of our job while specializing in a few areas.
My greatest joys are found outside the church building. I enjoy watersports (kitesurfing), nature, and meeting new people; God can be found in the wild and windy places.

Together Pastor Nick and Pastor Amy serve one full time pastor position at 1st CRC. They have appreciated the flexibility this gives them as they raise their kids. The Bowlings have been at 1st since 2021. Pastor Amy enjoys connecting with people and hearing their stories.
Amy loves peaceful afternoons in the woods, biking, and crafts a mean homemade pizza.
Amy's favourite Bible text is Ephesians 4:17,18
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
Pastor
Pastor Brady joined the staff team in 2026 as a Co-Pastor. He is passionate about preaching, leadership, and having meaningful conversations. In his free time Brady loves sports like volleyball and golf, as well as all kinds of games and spending time outside hiking and birding. He and his wife, Shannon, have three beautiful daughters: Esther, Aleida, and Madelyn.
Favourite Bible Verse: Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25-26
Elly joined the staff team in 2025 as the Director of Worship & Faith Formation. Elly is passionate about creating spaces of belonging, where people can grow in their relationships with God and one another, and use their gifts for the glory of God in worship.
Elly and her husband Laszlo enjoy being active outside, riding bikes, playing team sports, enjoying nature, and travelling to new places. They also love to get creative in the kitchen, and then share what they make with others.

Lisa has been office administrator for First CRC since 2022. She loves connecting with all those who come through the office, as well as assisting anyone with her creative talents!
Away from the office, Lisa loves reading, painting, running, and going on little adventures with her husband and two daughters.
